David Ormesher is a founding member and serves as Chairman of GRDP’s Board of Directors. David provides strategic direction and leadership for closerlook, inc. (www.closerlook.com). As CEO, Ormesher has taken closerlook from a small, creative media boutique and grown it into a recognized leader in creating innovative relationship marketing solutions that help clients in the healthcare and high-technology industries get closer to their most important customers.
Since founding the company in 1987, Ormesher has created a rich, cohesive culture at closerlook by maintaining a hands-on approach to building client success and sustaining lasting account relationships. David has guided the growth and evolution of the firm, attracting a world-class team of account strategy, user experience, design, technology, and relationship marketing services experts. Account teams create and deliver unique online and offline branded experiences that provide measurable results.
Ormesher is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences and is a recognized thought leader in the areas of interactive and relationship marketing.
Ormesher has 21 years of experience in marketing communications. Prior to founding closerlook, he worked for seven years in the entertainment industry as a television producer and writer for a syndicated magazine-format series entitled, “A Closer Look.”
In addition to his entrepreneurial leadership, Ormesher is also active on several non-profit boards. Ormesher serves on the boards of the Lyric Opera of Chicago; i.c.stars, an innovative business and leadership training program for high-potential inner city youth; and is the chairman of Global Relief and Development Partners. He is also an adjunct professor at the IIT Stuart Graduate School of Business where he teaches Customer Relationship Management.
Ormesher is married with three children and makes his home in Chicago, Illinois.
