Monitoring & Evaluation

GRDP offers monitoring and evaluation services to our partners ranging from system-wide to specific project analyses. All monitoring and evaluation systems are customized to meet the needs of our partners needs and are based on the following:

  • creation of a monitoring and evaluation timeline;
  • development of indicators, objectives, and expected outcomes;
  • identification of key stakeholders;
  • development of customized data collection tools;
  • establishment of baseline data through interviews, surveys, sampling, community meetings, inspections, auditing, secondary sources, or other relevant data-collection techniques;
  • systematic collection of progress data through interviews, surveys, sampling, community meetings, inspections, auditing, secondary sources, or other relevant data-collection techniques;
  • development of formal evaluation Terms of Reference (ToR);
  • selection of evaluation criteria, including efficiency, effectiveness, level of impact, cultural relevance, sustainability, connectedness, coverage, and policy coherence
  • quantitative, qualitative, and participatory analysis of monitoring data in relation to indicators, objectives, and outcomes;
  • submission of progress and final reporting.

All monitoring and evaluation services incorporate Sphere Minimum Standards, donor objectives, and other international standards of practice and are conducted with sensitivity to issues of cultural norms, gender, vulnerability, protection, participation, and coordination.
